ABOUT US
OUR MISSION
At the Little Church, it is our mission to make disciples, grow disciples, and share the love of Jesus Christ.
-
We believe God is the creator and ruler of the universe.
-
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, the Savior, and the Lord of all.
-
We believe the Holy Spirit is working in the world to draw all people to Jesus.
-
We believe the Bible is God’s Word to us.
-
We believe we are created in the image of God, but because of sin, we and our world are broken and in need of the forgiveness, renewal, and salvation offered by God through his Son Jesus Christ. Although God loves us just the way we are, because he loves us so much, he refuses to allow us to stay the way we are.
-
We believe that God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, Jesus, to die on the cross to once and for all pay the full penalty of our sins.
-
We believe in the resurrection of Jesus Christ, who is head of the church, the community through which God chooses to love and transform the world.
-
We believe that one day Jesus will return. We believe on that day, justice and love will prevail.
-
We believe on that day, God will set the world right.
WE SEEK TO
-
Follow Jesus
-
Teach from the Bible
-
Worship God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit
-
Impact the world with the love of God
WHAT WE BELIEVE
We are Now a Part of ECO
The Evangelical Covenant Order of Presbyterians (ECO) is theologically governed by Essential Tenets and further guided by Confessional Standards.
One of ECO’s values is “A Livable Theology.” The strength of our faith is how we live out our Reformed beliefs in a relentlessly contextual way.
Demonstrated by:
• Our zealous view that the sovereignty of God drives our ability to risk.
• Our call to deeply influence culture with the Gospel, not just protect theology.
• Our passion that renewed minds lead people to embody their faith in Jesus every day.
